"Inverted" is an experimental video art project that explores the development of self-consciousness and its image in mythology and symbolism.
The video consists of four 18-minute parts (aprox.), each referring to different stages of human development. Although the structure of the piece is somewhat linear, the narrative is abstract and recurring, therefore the video can be watched from any starting point.

The central theme of the video is merging the mythological Genesis and the awakening of self. The piece does not make any direct cultural references to the portrayal of creation, but is generally influenced by Hinduism, Western traditions and medieval alchemy. The symbolic part of the video rather comes from the artist’s own visual language, giving certain freedom of interpretation.
